Group of smiling girls enjoying summer activities with the words 'Summer Confidence' and 'Summer Bucket List'—promoting fun, friendship, and personal growth.

Summer isn’t just a break—it’s a powerful opportunity for growth.

During our Brave Girl Tribe call this past Sunday, we talked about how summer gives girls the chance to reset, rediscover themselves, and build confidence in ways school doesn’t always allow. We explored what confidence really means—not always feeling fearless, but being willing to take brave steps even when you're unsure.

Here’s what we shared with the girls:

Confidence is like a muscle—the more you use it, the stronger it gets.
It grows when you try something new, speak up, bounce back, and are kind to yourself along the way.

We created a Summer Confidence Bucket List, filled with activities designed to help them feel strong, brave, and proud of who they are.

Here are a few of the 10 Confidence Challenges we introduced:

  • Start a Bold Moves Journal – track every brave step she takes

  • Be the New Kid on Purpose – join a camp, class, or club where she doesn’t know anyone

  • Do a Social Reset Day – unplug for 24 hours and reconnect with her real-world self

  • Plan a Solo Adventure – with your permission, plan and complete a safe activity on her own

  • Be Someone’s Encourager – lift up a friend or classmate and see her own confidence grow

We also talked about setting goals around creativity, self-care, giving back, and exploring the world around them.

Use it as a starting point to check in with your daughter:

  • What feels exciting?

  • What feels a little scary (in a good way)?

  • What’s one thing she wants to be proud of by the end of summer?

Summer is a beautiful time to gently stretch, take brave steps, and remember that confidence isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress.

Here’s to a season of strong girls and bold moments,
